Snowboarding rocks! I tried it out for the first time in 2003-2004. I've skiied for many years at a comfortable intermediate level, switching to boarding took 3 days of falling down constantly. I've only gone once this year due to the [[ankle injury]]

[[Des and Liz]] and [[Elsa]] live there, so does my sister [[Caro]].
Middle school and most of High School were spent there... good times, good times. Lots of those good times were in the LowndsMobile.

A lovely language, my lingua franca for 8 or so years. I do speak English, Java, PHP and C every once in a while. I did write [[Imagine]] in perl (doh!).
For years I have had a quiet interest in [[type checking]] for Python. Lately I have been hacking on a type system for Python, [[t_types]].
I've helped in minor ways to get Python to build on [[Mac OS X]]. At [[Printra]] we use a lot of Python.

Steve and I concocted this idea for a texture archive. Steve designed the page and gathered most of the content and I did the programming. It's 10 or more years old now and still gets a *little* traffic.
No I am not Mormon. (nor is anyone else in the Lownds clan). Mormons are nice but if you've seen that South Park.... hum along with me now! Salt Lake does not have the best nightlife. When heading out to a bar (ahem, club) you hafta know someone in the bar to get in. Usually a friendly Stranger will sponsor you. Which is nice but doesn't make it any less retarded.

The files necessary for installing this version of [[TiddlyWiki]] can be downloaded from http://aasted.org/wiki/tiddlywiki01.zip .
Unzip the archive and upload the contents to your server. Make sure that the server has write-permission to the directory in which the files are stored. (I did chgrp web-group entries.php; chmod g w entries.php)
Logins are created by editing the users.php-file. (Create a user that can delete entries. Decide if you want guests to edit - I decide no.)
The markup is really simple. There is special markup for links (no WikiName syntax). Absolute URLs will create links without special markup. All special markup uses square brackets, ie [ and ] but doubled -- I'll use parens in my examples so they don't become links. ((link)) creates a link to a page. (IMG(url)) embeds a picture. ((title|url)) creates an external link. There is markup for lists as well.
Edit the [[MainMenu]], [[SiteTitle]] and [[SiteSubtitle]] "tiddlers" to customize your site. [[DefaultTiddlers]] controls which tiddlers are shown initially. In the version on my site, [[SpecialTiddlers]] hides all of the tiddlers just mentioned from the sidebar, and the Configure link shows all of the SpecialTiddlers.
